The past few days have been very busy, but lots of fun. Thursday night we took Gunnar and 3 of his friends to a family friends house to pick pumpkins and eat pizza & cake for his birthday. This was our first "friend party" so I was anxious to see Gunnar interact with his friends. The whole ride to Sandborn was hilarious! The boys laughed so much, and even made me & Kevin laugh a lot. When we got there we ate pizza and had cake for his birthday. Then they loaded up in this little convertible where the back was made to store things. We went and picked big orange pumpkins, then white pumpkins, then off to pick gourds, and little pumpkins. the boys filled the whole back of the car. When they could fit no more we went back to the house where they opened their treat bags and played on a wooden play set. The boys took home so many pumpkins & gourds!! I think everyone had a great time, I know we did. I will have pictures to post once my camera is fixed and shipped back.
Friday I got to have lunch with Shannon and dinner with Shannon, Darrell, and my crew. Then a movie and Scoops for Shannon and me. Saturday morning we had soccer an then lunch with Eryn & Shannon. It's so nice to be around friends and family! At the last minute I decided to join my friends at Lake Rudolph for camping Saturday night, since Kevin was going to be in Indy. With the help of Eryn & Shannon I loaded up and headed down there where I met, Jeff, Andrea, & Ethan, Kristin & Kaitlyn, Nikki & Shaylee, Andrea's mom & Step-dad, and Andrea's aunt & uncle. It was there Halloween weekend so the kids dressed up in costumes and went trick or treating, then a hay ride at night. And of course we made smores!! We were up early early to get back in time for church, because after church we had a birthday lunch for Gunnar at the Jones's house. My wonderful mother-in-law fixed lunch and a cake and Gunnar opened more presents! He got 2 things he really wanted- a pogo stick, and Colt's tickets. I was so happy the whole family was able to get together, since Kurt & Shannon live out of town. then finally Sunday evening we sat and sat and it was great to finally relax!! It was a exhausting, but wonderful 4 days!!

Hey! We have an extra ticket for tonight's concert! I'm leaving around 11 probably...nothing like a last minute road trip! Call if you want it! It'd be a blast!
