The Weekend

We had a great relaxing weekend. Friday night we celebrated Adam's birthday by a fire listening to him and Kevin play/sing. Saturday morning was the kids last soccer game of the season, thank goodness, because it was so cold! Saturday afternoon I ran to Kohl's with my mil to get Lily some clothes. After trying all her fall/winter clothes on she had 2 shirts that fit! So she was in desperate need of some new clothes. Saturday night was a family movie/appetizer party. Every once in awhile we all watch a movie together and I fix up all kind of different foods and just set them out and we just munch while watch. The kids love it, although i was a little disappointed with the movie Firehouse Dog which was rated PG, but had some crude humor in it. Sunday was church then Kevin and I went to the matinee and saw Firehouse. It had a great message(although the acting wasn't the greatest) It's a christian based movie about a struggling marriage. If your married no matter what kind of relationship you have it's worth seeing. Sunday there was a get together with our church and Free Methodist church. There was lots of singing then food after. Kevin & our choir did songs and sounded great. Then home to watch the recorded Colt's game, which was awful:( Today starts my new shift with Carter, 6:45am-5:30pm, wish me luck!!
